At Stump Express.com we believe that you should understand our pricing model. We charge for our service based on the size of stump that you need removed, the access to that stump, and any additional work that may be required, i.e. exposed root removal, chip removal, soil replacement, grass seed application, sod installation, etc.
We use a formula that begins with a basic charge for any size stump. Our basic fee covers the following:
- Travel to the work site, inside of the Lower Mainland. If you live outside of the Lower Mainland, click here for our travel policy.
- Machine set-up and de-mobilization to an easily accessible stump.
- Grinding of one basic stump, up to 8" in diameter and 12" of exposure to a point approx. 10" below grade (we can go up to 20" deep if you need to).
- Raking of the chips into a single pile for owner use or removal.
- 1% of sales donated to Tree Canada. Tree Canada is a charitable organization which partners with local volunteers to improve our quality of life by planting and caring for trees. In your neighbourhoods, schoolyards, parks and in the countryside, Tree Canada leaves a living, breathing legacy for generations to come.
