- Always measure at ground level beside stump. Do not measure across the top of your stump.
- Clear any debris from the base of the stump to determine if any roots are exposed.
- Take width and length measurements to determine average diameter.
- Include any exposed roots in your measurements.
- To determine approximate diameter take the average between the length and width of stump (eg. 50 inches
wide x 40 inches long = average diameter of 45 inches).
- Pricing is based on dollars per inch. Always measure from base. Starting at exposed roots.
- Stumps are generally from a height of 8” to 10” off the ground. Costs may increase if any taller.
